Windows Firewall Fix

Note: ScreenKin currently uses the Truple app for Windows monitoring. While ScreenKin is developing its own dedicated apps, the Truple app provides the underlying technology for Windows devices.
These instructions will reset your Windows Firewall, and allow you to grant permissions for the monitoring app.
If you received the message Firewall Error - Click to fix., follow these steps if you use Windows firewall. If you use another firewall, please allow the Truple app.

Close the Truple app

Click on the Start Button

Type
Firewall -
Click
Windows Defender Firewall -
Click "Restore Defaults" on the left hand side

Click "Restore Defaults"

Read the dialog. Be sure you agree, then click "Yes".

Close the Firewall window

Open the Truple app
-
Allow access
You should now be setup to run the monitoring app. If you run into any issues please reach out to support@screenkin.com.
