How to uninstall the monitoring app from a Linux device

Note: ScreenKin currently uses the Truple app for Linux monitoring. While ScreenKin is developing its own dedicated apps, the Truple app provides the underlying technology for Linux devices. Follow the steps below to uninstall the monitoring app from a Linux device.

To uninstall the monitoring app from a Linux device, the parent should do the following:

  1. Log in to your ScreenKin parent dashboard
  2. Navigate to the device settings page
  3. Find the device you wish to uninstall the monitoring app from, and select it to view its settings
  4. Remove the device from your ScreenKin account or mark it for deletion
  5. Save your changes
  6. On the Linux device, find the Truple icon in the notification bar
  7. Click on the icon, then select Uninstall
  8. Confirm to uninstall
