Instructions

Note: ScreenKin currently uses the Truple app for Android monitoring. While ScreenKin is developing its own dedicated apps, the Truple app provides the underlying technology for Android devices. Follow the steps below to set up monitoring on your child's Android device.

1. Install the Truple app from the Google Play Store on your child's device.
2. Open the Truple app
3. Click Login / Register
4. Login with your ScreenKin parent account*
5. Answer the questions
6. Grant the permissions
7. Check the battery optimization suggestions for your device type, and follow any instructions provided. (If you don't do this, monitoring may become unstable and stop working at random) See this page for device-specific instructions.
8. (Optional) Go to your ScreenKin parent dashboard to further adjust the monitoring settings for this device.

* If you are setting up your child's device remotely (the device is not physically present with you), you should not share your ScreenKin credentials with your child. Instead, have them follow the instructions for adding a device to your account, which will allow them to request access without needing your login credentials.
